War...a despicable event that sees the end of a multitude of lives if only to fulfill the goals of one individual with an insatiable avarice for power. A mere twenty-four months ago Sôsuke Aizen led an all out war against the Gotei 13, leading his top three Espada into battle with the strongest members of the Gotei 13. Battling furiously the two opposing forces collided in a mass of power, only to be brought into greater conflict by the arrival of the revenge-seeking Vizard. Even with their arrival, however, the tide of battle refused to shift as Aizen and his followers stepped into the fray themselves.ITS ZERO HOUR
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Only with the timely arrival of the Soul King and his Royal Guard was the tide of battle truly shifted. Stepping into the conflict himself, the enigmatic Soul King delivered a decisive blow to the traitorous Aizen, ending the traitor's life with a single strike. Though Aizen himself was unfortunate enough to be destroyed by the overwhelming power of the Soul King and his Royal Guard, his followers were not. In the mass of confusion that followed the death of Sôsuke Aizen his subordinates managed to flee the scene along with the last of the former Taichou's Arrancar army. Fleeing back to Hueco Mundo the small handful of survivors licked their wounds as things began to settle down, each side collecting their respective dead as they worked to restore their lost forces and power.
With the help of the freshly retrieved Orihime and her ability to restore others, following grisly wounds those that were close to death or freshly among the deceased were able to be saved. Sadly that did not bode well for the Gotei 13, and despite her best efforts several powerful members were lost to the strength of Aizen and his comrades. Deemed a traitor by the Soul King, Yamamoto was sent into exile; banished from the Soul Society for his willingness to accept help from the half-hollow Vizard and the exile Urahara Kisuke. The Vizard, too, retreated from the battlefield as soon as their number was restored; relocating to a new base of operations out of sight and mind of the enraged Soul King. Ichigo, as well, was affected by the new laws of the Soul King; having his Shinigami powers forcibly removed due to the unstable nature of his power.
The Seireitei, however, was the most affected by the new regime of the hands-on Soul King. Under his leadership the Central 46 and Gotei 13 were rebuilt with members of the Noble Houses taking control of the diplomatic chamber and the Zero Division taking over the captain duties of the military squads. The once peaceful Soul Society has become a totalitarian regime ruled solely by the Soul King and his Noble House advisers with no individual allowed to enter or leave the realm without his illicit permission. Though it is not the peace that any individual wants it has still returned to the human and shinigami realms none-the-less.
Yet as the chaos from one war begins to simmer the flames of another tide of war begin to charge. Upon the white planes of Hueco Mundo a new breed of Hollow have begun to appear- a group far more grotesque and strange than anyone has seen in the past. Possessing new levels of power and a strange ability to directly infiltrate the Seireitei this new batch of Hollow have begun to show the world that peace isn't something that can be obtained so easily. These creatures have slowly begun to move against their Shinigami counterparts, along with a group of familiar faces that promise only violence and destruction in the immediate future.[/blockquote]
