INTRODUCTION !
As a shinobi, you are required to go on missions. Some are simple, others are challenging. Some can be completed single-handedly, while others can include groups ranging from the numbers three to possibly twenty, if appropriate. On occassion missions will involve leaving a country and going to another as a liason, or as an escort for a political figure. Keep in mind, that as long as leaving the country is a mission and the leader is aware, it is not unlawful and you will not be considered a rogue ninja. Also, while most missions can be signed up for, if the country leader sees your skills most fit to go on a mission, one could be assigned specifically to you and no one else. Prepare yourself, nomatter a mission's rating, you never quite know what it'll present.
Missions will be created following this guide by the kage of a village.
Make sure to visit the EXP collection board ! after you've finished a mission to collect your earned EXP.
IMPORTANCE !
Going on missions is key to opening up doors to the future as a shinobi. You are mostly rated by the strength of your jutsu, and are only taken seriously by your will to protect, and intent to kill. However, there is only one true way to gain experience in the world as a ninja, and that is by accepting as many missions as you can while making sure that they SUIT YOU. The more flexible you are, the better, and stronger shinobi you will become. Depending on what kind of missions you embark on, and how many you have fit into your schedule also helps your sensei or country leader determine if you will be ready to try for a higher title. (such examples include: the chuunin exams, the jonin trials, skills needed to achieve ANBU status, etc.)
MISSION TEMPLATE !
Kages use this template when making missions, and post them under the missions board in your village's sub-board.

THE RANKS !
Missions rank from levels D-S, D being the easiest of ratings and S being the most difficult.
D. [ Academy & Genin. ]
Possible XP for Completion: 15 XP.
Mainly involves community service work and are usually, overall, simple. These missions are not meant to hone a junior shinobi's skills, they should rely on rudimentary training for that. Squad Leading Jonin will normally take their Genin on D-Rank Missions to ensure their safety. For the most part, these missions include catching lost animals or cleaning up the village to make it free from litter and the like. These missions are usually unpaid.
C. [ Genin & Chuunin. ]
Possible XP for Completion: 25 XP.
Consisting normally of escorting political figures or just average citizens in and out of villages simply to ensure their safety. It is unlikely that on C-Rank missions that a ninja will encounter a foreign shinobi that is out to harm them, but because it commonly involves leaving the safety of a Hidden Village these missions are usually carried out in groups made up of three to six ninja. Experienced Genin will occassionally head out on these missions to gain experience of being outside of the village. These missions normally have minimum pay.
B. [ Chuunin, Jonin, & Special Jonin. ]
Possible XP for Completion: 50 XP.
These missions tend to include interaction between enemy ninja, and can cause injury or death. B-Rank missions are hardly ever within the Village in which they are assigned, and they normally include escorts, gathering information from foreign areas, or serious scouting when information about an intruder is proven -- thus probably resulting in the need to kill them or bring them in for interrogation. B-Rank missions are commonly carried out in teams made up of of three or four ninja, as not to make them too noticeable when traveling through enemy territory. These missions normally have moderate pay.
A. [ Jonin & Special Jonin. ]
Possible XP for Completion: 75 XP.
The second most difficult of all ranks. It includes missions between nations that could determine the future, and escorts. Also, because Jonin are supposed to work as military captains, these missions also include taking on enemy ninja formations through combat. Being one of the most difficult types of missions, A-Ranks have a high risk of injury and death. These missions are carried out individually, in pairs, or in large groups in order to have backup. Despite them being threatening, this is the most flexible of ranks. Chuunin and Genin may, on occassion, get assigned an A-Rank mission by mistake. These missions normally have moderate pay.
S. [ Kage. ]
Possible XP for Completion: 100 XP.
S-Rank Missions involve intense combat, and assassinations. Only the most qualified of shinobi may go on such missions, as they have the highest risk of death and injury. When on such missions, there is no doubt that one will encounter foreign ninja, have to battle, and eventually kill. An failed S-Rank mission could lead to destruction of a village or associated persons, so great precautions are taken when assigning them. They are only carried out individualy or in pairs. However, look on the bright side; if one lives through an S-Rank Mission, the pay is unmatched.
TIPS [ Note: Tips most likely will be added to. ]
1.] Genin must stay with their teams for missions. We can't have one gallerbanding off with a bunch of Jonin without their sensei and teammates -- despite how much they probably want to.
2.] If a Genin Team goes on a high-ranked mission and fills the spots, they will be accompanied by their/a Jonin Sensei to ensure their safety despite the member count required for the mission.
3.] Missions may only be lead by Jonin and Chuunin.
4.] Ninja should normally accept the missions that are more suited to them. That means Genin can't go on B or A-Ranked missions all of the time. There will often be a note banning certain levels of shinobi.
5.] A Genin Team must have gone on at least three D-Rank Missions and two C-Rank Missions before qualifying for the Chuunin Exams.
