The Island…
Sanctus Island, located somewhere within Indonesia, is a tropical island. It was a previously owned private island by William Von Trapp during the early 1900s. After he passed away in 1913, his island was donated to the future science of mankind. It wasn't until the beginning of the 21st century when scientists began to experiment with human DNA. The more involved they became with their work on altering human DNA, the more the island expanded to benefit the needs of all the children that were being created in test tubes as well as the scientists. As the years went by, the population of the island grew more and more. Eventually, Sanctus Preparatory was built a couple miles away from the research laboratory to educate the children about life, their abilities, and to make them feel a little more normal among there other mutated and non-mutated peers. A city was also built close to the beach that has had much success in a variety of businesses.
The Story Goes…
It’s the year 2026. Most of the students that are now attending Sanctus Preparatory are well into there mid-teens approaching their late teens. Sanctus Preparatory claims that they’re a school that prepares young adolescent boys to be mature and responsible men, but that is all a lie to keep the school functioning and the staff and students under control from the real truth. The real truth is that most of the mutated students aren’t going to live past their twentieth birth date. Actually, none of them are going to live past their twentieth birth date because most of the scientist that helped created these abominations will kill them off. From previous research, based off of a few test subjects, scientists found out that when the test subjects reached their twentieth birth dates, their power increased greatly causing their mood to become unstable which ultimately resulted in a few causalities. Before any more lives are lost to the destruction of mutated beings, the United Nations has secretly ordered a halt to all of the islands current experiments and demand they kill off the remaining mutants.
And Now…
There are some scientists that don’t give a care what happens to these mutated freaks. It’s not their problem. Besides, they’re only following orders. Then there are some scientists that want to try to find a cure that keeps a mutants mood balanced once they reached their twentieth birth date. Either way, mutated students are brainwashed to believe that once they reach their twentieth birth date they will get a chance to leave the island for good and go to whatever destination they please. There are a few older students that find it rather suspicious and even question this “destination” of their choice. Some would even rather remain on the island but teachers insist they explore the world and experience new cultures. It's up to those that are approaching their nineteenth birth date to decide whether they're going to go on this "destination" or if they'll find enough clues to discover one of the island's deadliest secret.
